Day 7: North Cape, Reindeer and Cruisin"

Yesterday evening we had a beautiful cruise along the coast.  These photos were taken between 10-11 PM.  The fishing boat photo was taken when we docked at Berlevåg.

This morning we went on an excursion to North Cape, the most northern point in Europe.

There was wonderful scenery at the cape.

On the way down the hill we stopped at the residence of a Sámi family, the indigenous people of Norway. There are four Sámi families that raise and own the 5,000 reindeer on Honningsvåg Island.

To get to the mainland, we drove through an underwater tunnel that is 700 meters below the sea.

We were out for six hours before we caught up with the boat again.
